rodent?
My mom is allergic to rodents. I was considering getting a sugar glider. I read that sugar gliders were marsupials, but are they also rodents? Will my mom react from them? How much do they cost all together?

no gliders are not rodents and they make wonderful pets for people who are allergic to cats and dogs because they do not give off any dander...im not sure if your mom would be a allergic to a glider although

well gliders can range from being 150$-250$ but it all depends on which breeder you get it from....they need a cage,food dishes, toys, pouches, a wheel, and they need a lot of time and love..gliders are big comitments and you should study and research to know before if you are really someone who can give there glider(s) the attention it needs...it is also good to get two if you will be away often...

DO THE REASEARCH!!!!
REALIZE HOW LONG THEY LIVE!!! this is not just a cool kinda pet to have for a few weeks! they live a long live in captivity.. please dont get one, & have it posted right back up here. i would say your mom will be fine with it, but i wouldnt have her hold them or anything. good luck in your search for a new pet! they truely are a good animal if you know how to care for them & actaully buy a tame one & keep it that way! =]

Why do you guys atomatically think I havent done any reasearch and am just some dumbass that wouldn't take care and consideration in deciding on getting a sugar glider. You people can rest assured if I do choose to get sugar glider it will be in good hands. All I wanted was an estimate on everything they needed to start with and maybe some good deals you might have seen on the internet.
