Pseudorabies and dogs ?

Hiya all, Is anyone on here clued up about this subject?

Their's a lil bit about it here from what I can find -

sounds really serious stuff!! Do people know about this when keeping dogs and other animals around pot bellied (vietnamese) pigs ?

What I need to know is how do I go about vaccinating the pig or the dog against this? Is it expensive?

I'm a first time pot bellied pig owner keeping it as a pet (outside) but I may have to keep it i the aviary and shed away from the dog if this is an expensive problem to fix!!

I'm actually getting really worried about this especially where it says:

"In dogs and cats, pseudorabies can cause 'sudden' death"

hi, it is very rare, Your dog and pig will be okay together, I have dogs and cats with my pig and he sleeps in the house beside my bed. You can add me on yahoo messenger for any pig stuff, my name is mypiglikestofu but i don't have mns messenger.
