I was doing my work as fast as I could
But all of a sudden I misunderstood

When I looked away to see a puppy dog
i also saw a stick as big as a log

A big man with muscles of steel
was beating the dog until it squeled

I asked myself "Why does this happen?"
My brain replied "Go and slap him!"

cruelty should not be a vocabulary word
but because it is, it's very absurd

let me tell you another delema of doom
where a kid was so drunk his pet went kaboom

it all started with a party at his house
the party was great but not for his mouse

fireworks are the source of all fun
when they explode they look like the sun

they took the mouse and tied it to the rocket
and when it exploded it caused such a racket

animals have feelings they need love to survive
but with cruelty around they are so deprived

God's creatures need us to help them live
so lets give them more than we can give

to prevent this from happening give a simple call,
make a support group, or a trip to city hall

take some time and remember they are our friends
they love us and are with us to the very ends.
