Sorry for your loss it's a very hard thing to face, my dog died on his 9th birthday just over 5mths ago, I'll never stop missing or loving him, they were the best 9yrs...... but it's so much better to have loved and lost ~ than never to have loved at all. Hope you're doing ok.

Im so sorry for your loss. That is a very sweet poem. It made me cry. I love my pets and never want to see them die. I know how you feel, but I know you had him for 13 years and I only had mine for 3 BUT still it hurts. My leopard gecko Dragon died on my 18th birthday. He was VERY sick and he was only 3 years old. I got him at pets mart as a baby and I took him to the vet and every thing. Just last year he got VERY sick and had problems eatting and keeping food down. I found out he had internal problems and he was loseing weight fast. My vet gave me some food and med to feed him to get him fatter so she could take blood. BUT on my 18th birthday I came home from school happy as can be and when I went to see Dragon and feed him, he was dead. I cried and cried and cried for 4 days I could not stand it. I still cry some times just thinking of him. I really miss him. So I know how you feel... I give you lots of love and hope you feel better soon. It's hard not to cry and it's hard for me not to right now.........
