( i found this poem and i figured it might make you feel a little better )
"THE EULOGY" By: Carol Kufner Look not where I was For I am not there My spirit is free I am everywhere In the air that you breathe In the sounds that you hear Don't cry for me Mom My spirit is near I'll watch for you From the other side I'll be the one running New friends by my side Smile at my memory Remember in your heart This isn't the end It's a brand new start

Oh my Gosh...this is perfect. Thank you so much for telling me about it. When we can (meaning, when we are able to go through pics of her w/o crying) we are going to create a collage of pics of her and I told my husband that I wanted to put a couple of poems w/ it. This one is perfect (of course it made me cry when I read it). I went to the gym this morning as I do every sat. morning and as I pulled back into my driveway for a split second I started to roll my window down and start talking to her. I used to do that. As soon as she saw my car coming toward the house she would run to the gate, tail wagging. When it hit me that she is not there I sat in my car and cried before coming in the house. Bay sort of feeds off of our emotions and I know it sounds silly but I am trying not to appear upset around him b/c it makes him sad. Thank you again...This site is great. Everyone has been so kind. But, I guess that's b/c everyone can relate, we have all been through this, huh?

hey no problem, glad i could help!
this site is great! you'll find lots of caring helpful people here! yeah, we've all been through this.... it'll take a long time for you to heal. i've never fully gotten over my cat and bunny but i find comfort in thinking they are at peace. i can almost swear they can sense our emotions, especailly my cat Darth Vader. he always seems to know when i'm upset or crying and need cheering up.
