Unhappy Fat Mouse?!?!

One of my mice had babies so I took the male out of the cage. The only place I could put him is in a small cage. I put different toys in there and hold him as much as I can.. But he is so BIG now... I put the wheel in there with him for some of the time.. but i mostly keep it in the cage with the other mice ( I dont want the mother's cagemate to get bored and eat the babies or anything) so is there anything i can do at the moment to help my fat lil mouse.. Please help! I know this cant be healthy
Thank You!

You could put a big blanket that you don't mind getting poop/pee on and put it on a couch or chair and let him run around on it. Do this morning/night and he might slim down a bit. Don't worry, fat mice isn't uncommon!

If he is brindle or yellow, they are just naturally fat, and there isn't really anything you can do about it besides take all the sunflower seeds and other fatty seeds out of their food mix.

Brindles and yellows are the best! They're sadly the fatest too. I heard that they can slim down a bit if they use a wheel a lot...
