Pain reliever for limping cat

Hi...first let me say that my cat is going to the vet on Monday. She started limping Saturday morning out of the blue. I have no idea what happened to her, but I do think that her leg is a little swollen. I am just wondering if there was anything I can do for her to stop or lessen the pain until Monday? She gets around fine...jumping, walking, eating...etc... but she won't put any weight on that leg. Can I give her baby aspirin or something? I feel so bad for her, but since it isn't an emergency, no vet will see her until Monday. I don't want my kitty to be in pain It's very strange. I don't know what happened to her. She sleeps with me at night (usually on me) so I hope I didn't hurt her...but she was fine until around ten AM. I went out and came back to a limping kitty. I can't find any wounds, or bites, or anything in it. She's five years old, slightly chubby, and I've had her for a few months. What do I do? Thanks.

Maybe she broke her foot or twisted it. It could be also that someone stepped on her foot, without you noticing it. Well whatever it is I hope your kitty gets better. I dont know if this will help, but theres this thing called "super blue stuff"(they show it on TV) well when you go to their site:

http://www.bluestuff.com/default.asp

on the left side you'll see "PET STUFF" click on it , then you'll see different products, theres a thing called "Animal stuff" its supposed to help ease the pain. But than again if u order it its not gonna come in like 2 or more weeks and its also $27.50 so its kinda expensive, so its really up to u what u wanna choose.
Hope this helps and i hope your kitty gets better!

Aspirin can kill cats. Wait till you see the vet. You might want to hold it down in a solution of epsom salt and water to help the swelling go down. I had to do that for my cat when she cut her little paw pad. 5 minutes a day or something. That'll help prevent edema and bring the swelling down. It's also a muscle relaxer.
