Super Pet CritterTrail Three
It looks awesome to me, but I dont have any hammies. What, in your experience, is it like?
Thanks!

It is very cool, however, you will need to clean it very well at least once a week.(Which can be a pain!) I have a tupperware bin, not sure exactly how many gallons, but u can buy toys to put in it for the hammys and it is much easier to clean and a lot less expensive! my hammys love theirs!

I have no problem cleaning often. I clean my guinea pigs once a week, and their cage is about 9 square feet.

My advice: don't get it. I had it, and seriously regret spending money on it. There's no room...it has height, but ground space is what matters most. There's no room to fit any toys in it. You are much much better off buying an aquarium or a bin. You can get huge ones very very cheap.

I have a ten-gallon aquarium... should I try for something bigger?

I would not buy ANYTHING from Crittertrail
they have no concept of what a hamster needs in terms of enclosure the Crittertrail One is useless for anything bar a stuffed toy the petting zone lids are lethally designed the Revolution has no burrow opportunity and don't get me started on its potential for leg injuries |
