embarrassing question...

ok-this is embarrassing, but whenever Hoop wakes up his testicles look, um, weird...it's hard to describe-almost like something's wrong, hairless and kinda hanging...after he grooms they seem to be more normal. has anyone experienced this? at first itr scared me...i thought something was horribly wrong with his butt-I am still a little nervous-I will be glad to hear from ya'll!

That's normal for hamsters. Don't worry so much! Your hammie is lucky to have someone who worries about him though.

Mine is doing the same thing as yours. I was told all male hampsets go "into heat" type thing in the spring. Did you bring yours to a vet? Mine is still playing and all and is still hainvg a good time. What do you think?

The reason your hamster testicles are hanging like that is simple. Male hamsters let them hang out when they sleep or are resting. Maybe it's one of the ways they relax? Don't worry though, it's perfectly normal.
