Mustangs and Breeds
What does everyone here think of mustangs? Does anyone here own one? I was just wondering because I own one. What kinds of breeds does everyone have?
Talk to you later ~Haley~ |

Hello Haley
I have never had a mustang but I know a few people who adopted them and they are truly wonderful. They do take some time and you really have to have patience but they are smart and loving. I have 2 Arabians . They are 32 and 23 and I bred them both. I also recently adopted a 10 yr old TB who is a cryptiod. ( undecended testicles ). He is very sweet and we hope to get him gelded in the spring. In my years with horses I have also owned Saddlebreds, Apps, QH, shetland ponies, morgans and morabs. I have loved all of them for their unique qualities and although I prefer Arabs I never turn a horse down because of it's breed.

But very friendly. My last horse is a quarter horse. He is a gelding. rideable and my favorite My friend adopted 2 mustangs that she wants to break they are friendly but it will take time to break.

Mustangs do make wonderful companions. I adopted on May 11, 2001. I even remember his aution number(4830). I have an Arabian to. They are such wonderful, understanding, and sweet horses. When my sister get on my arab he is like and old plow horse that just got out of the feild because he knows she doesn't like to go fast and likes calm horses. When I get on him he is like a bull in the China shop because he knows that I like fast spirited horses.
Hope to hear from you soon ~Haley~ |

Hey Jacksondog,
I'm sorry to hear about your mare. What happened to her? I had a standerbred mare that was unrideable. She had split her hoof and it never healed. She was an ex-trotter. I love mustangs. I had mine broke and outside the pen within two weeks. Of course at the auction he was "licking and chewing" when I was petting him. I was the only one able to pet him at the auction. I just bonded with him so he was the one I knew I wanted. When I went to look at the other horses for sale he went to the far side of the pen where no one could pet him. And he stayed there till I got back. Such a sweety, don't yah think? Did you adopt your mustang? Hope to hear from you soon ~Haley~ |
