Saddles and Tack

I was wondering what everyone's favorite saddle to ride in is. I own a Crump close contact that I bought used and I love it. Before I was using my trainer's Stubben that had huge knee pads, going from that to my crump that had small pencil knee rolls was quite a change but it helped me get my leg even stronger.

If I had the money I'd get all Stubben products simply because they last a looooooooong time if you take care of them and are very comfortable.

What does everyone else use?

my aunt had this saddle, since she didn't ride horses anymore(she was a show class jumper) she gave me her used saddle. And believe me, it did NOT look like it was used at ALL! She cleaned it like every day. Now it looks used, thanks to my pony!!LOL

PS that saddle is a Stubben too!! no wonder

Free is always good! A suggestion for cleaning the saddle, get some mink oil from Wal-mart or whatever store nearby sells shoe cleaning supplies. A little bit on a soft rag goes a long way and really cleans nicely! Smells alot better than saddle soap too.
