I was at Petland a few days ago getting some fish and over herd this lady talking to a guy who works there. She asked him why they dont sell Pits. He said that he really didnt know why and that they get their puppies from "distributors". I didnt say anything but when me and my b/f walked out we started talking about it. People are so ignorant. Places like this make me so mad!

Yeah I'm really disgusted by the Petland chain. Not only do they sell "puggles" and "labradoodles" but they sell really crappy ferret starter packs. These packs come with cedar bedding and a really poor kibble. I hate that place.

I went to petland to but a degu when I asked if they had any, first I was told no. The a girl in the back came out whispering to the guy. He then told me that they had 33 yesterday, and only one today. I asked "are they really that popular?" He then stated oh no its just that we forgot and left them out over night with the ferrets and they all died. I will never go back to that store. I did purchase the last surviving degu. I am happy to report she had her first set of babies and is starting to trust us Thanks for listening.Chastity

You should have saw their hamsters! All in one cage and different varieties and sexes. They are so dumb! The hampsters are going to kill each other! I learned that the hard way because stores like this told me that it was ok to have 2 males together.

I would have went to their central store and reported them. Tell them that I knew what happened to their Degus and that I was going to go to the media with it. They would get put out of business so fast!!! My god that is horrible!!!!!
